As you may already know, I’m planner obsessed. I have a few (6) in rotation at any one time. My two personal planners are the Louis Vuitton PM Agenda in Amarante Vernis & the Filofax Personal Planner in Nude. Louis Vuitton PM Agenda I use my LV PM (Her Majesty - got it second hand with hot stamping H.M) daily with the LV 2018 day to a page inserts, which are just so cute! The pros: What’s nice about this system is that because the Agenda is small, there’s a great amount of room to jot down your daily activities. It also has times listed down the edge which helps when you’re planning multiple things in one day. There are cute drawings of outfits and accessories on the front page and on the front of each month. They also have pages of all the necessary holiday pages, measurement conversions and even clothing size conversions which is super handy for me in the Fashion field! The cons: The downside I find with this system is the pages are quite thin, so when I use the Papermate Flair (my favourite pen), it bleeds through. To combat this, I use washi tape or post it tabs (glued down) to write on over the areas on the flip side so I can cover the bleed. The one other thing that’s mildly annoying but not an issue is the edges are silver foil, not gold. The hardware on the agenda is in gold so it just doesn’t go completely. You can only fit 3 months in at a time, which isn’t a big deal for me but I know some people like to see a year in full to plan ahead. Filofax Personal Planner I love love love this Planner so much! It’s chic and classic and it’s my go-to for my personal happenings. I use this planner daily to help keep myself on track with health goals, reminders to take time out, family occasions, birthdays and general things I like to purchase. The pros: The inserts I purchased for this Planner are a week to a spread which is nice because you can see the entire week ahead. It even has a month view at the top corner to help visualize the entire month. There’s even a notes section at the beginning to write any goals or reminders down for the week. What’s nice about this Agenda is the size and the aesthetics. The Personal size is big enough that I can fit a busy schedule in if I wanted to! It’s still compact enough that it fits in my tote without crushing everything else. I mainly use this Planner to note the main task/reminder of the day down and decorate the rest. The nude colour is perfect! It goes with absolutely everything and you can really decorate it how you wish. The leather is smooth and sturdy and it has strong clips. The cons: Honestly, the only con about this Planner is that you have to be super careful with it because of the colour. P.S. I have the LV PM in the Monogram Canvas too! I didn’t think I’d ever have a “Planner Space” for all of my goodies. I surely didn’t plan on creating one when we bought our IKEA Pax Wardrobes.
After I had made an error measuring the corner unit (d’oh!) we had to get creative with the placement of the cabinets. I decided my slimline closet with Komplement pull out glass front drawers would have to live in my studio room :’(. I wanted to use this as a vanity and to store my handbags/small leather goods and keep it all with me in the master bedroom. So, after some frustration and disappointment, I moved the cabinet into the studio, where I still can store my handbags and SLGs. I keep my planners on the Komplement glass shelf, along with some cute little trays and containers for my planner clips and ribbon. I placed a mirror behind this area to help lighten the area. I initially purchased the IKEA Komplement Divider to sit on the pull-out tray to keep belts, scarves and other accessories on. Now, with the help from my Aunty Kathy (check out her YouTube channel here) and some grip matting, I keep my washi tape colour coordinated in the space. It works so well! I also have a Komplement thin pull-out tray underneath it (where I was going to store my jewellery) which acts as a mini desk space. Genius! What’s nice about this is you can have ALL of your planner goodies in the one spot, but not taking up a load of space because you can simply put the tray back in. Whilst it’s not perfect, I’ll eventually need to work out a higher chair to sit on, having this pack-away space for my planners is perfect for the space and it’s so versatile. Jess x Oh! And I’ll be listing some cuuuute planner stickers (see those fashion lady stickers I’ve been using?) and washi tape packs on my other Etsy store Bleak Designs. Keep your eyes peeled!

Chanel’s Haute Couture Spring Summer 2018 Collection is a gorgeous display of texture, embellishments, strong silhouettes and pops of pink.
Valentine’s Day doesn’t mean much to some, but for me it’s a day that my husband and I, as busy professionals, log off and spend quality time with each other. Living in a regional town, I don’t find much opportunity to dress up how I used to whilst living in Sydney. Especially that I work from home! (Don’t worry, I still wear heels around the house and to the post office). Here are some of my V-Day Outfits I’ve planned out via Polyvore.
