Recently, my husband and I traveled to NYC as an early 30th birthday present to myself. I was completely blown away at how beautiful the city is, the atmosphere, the food, and of course the shops. I picked these little beauties up from my visit there and they’re currently my favourites. Tocca Hair Fragrance in ‘Cleopatra’. This not only smells divine, but includes moisturizing oils so it doesn’t dry out my hair when I apply it. The packaging is also really cute and I just feel extra fresh when my hair smells nice. YSL Blur Perfector. This baby pink and gold compact is the prettiest accessory on my vanity. Use it to add a tiny rosy glow to your complexion, or on top of your makeup to help set it and keep excess shine at bay. Gucci Dionysus Super Mini. Okay, so I wanted a tiny handbag to just bring out when I’m doing the general running around. I also wanted something versatile and lightweight. This super mini bag has a removable chain strap, which can also be shortened by looping in different arrangements. This means I can wear it as a clutch, a crossbody, a shoulder bag, a long drop shoulder bag and also a belt bag. Crazy! I originally had purchased this in the blue velvet with the supreme bronze contrast. I returned this version twice. The first exchange was the next morning when I saw in natural light there was a matte patch of glue on the patent leather side. The second exchange was decided within the first couple of hours when I wore it. A stitch popped at the top opening and the velvet had untucked itself from the front corner. It was then that I decided to go with the leather. I’ve had no problems since and I really love the look of this bag. It’s something I can keep forever and get a lot of use out of it. Christian Dior Silk Twilly. I know that the silk twilly scarves are mainly used to cover handles of handbags, but I really wanted to use it as a waist tie or belt. I bought the classic reversible Dior logo navy twilly to use multiple ways and I really think it elevates my outfits. YSL Rouge Volupte Shine. This super cute heart print lipstick was a USA exclusive they brought out for Valentine’s Day. I managed to grab the last one they had at Bloomingdales in the colour ‘Nude’. I had been looking for a lipstick or balm in a nude colour for such a long time but never quite found one with a glossy finish that I liked. YSL Top Secrets CC Creme in ‘Apricot’.
This! This product is so beautiful on my skin as a light glowy coverage. It has tiny gold specks and blends so nicely on my skin. It can be used as a base under foundation, or just on its own. With an SPF 35+ protection, I really see myself using this daily and it’s so effortless to apply.
